The tripods from the Mr.Y series from Leofoto are ideal for travel and photography indoors, for example at events or in museums, as well as in urban areas in general. They are particularly light and have a very short transport length. The special highlight is the Y-shaped centre column. This means that the diameter of the tripod head can be significantly smaller (see illustration). This means that the tripod even fits into a briefcase.

The operation is very simple and intuitive: The legs can be extended using rubberized twist locks. The centre column is held in place by an ergonomic clamping lever. The height of the camera can be adjusted by adjusting the centre column. The spread angle of the tripod legs can be adjusted in four levels. The highest stability is achieved at 42°. For special perspectives, the angle can be increased up to 82°. The short centre column then allows a real worm's eye view.

Short centre column? Yes! You can replace the long centre column with a much shorter one, which is included. This can be done without any tools. The advantage, in addition to the worm's eye view already mentioned, is the increase in stability. The long centre column can also be mounted upside down for unusual shooting situations. The ball head LH-25/R is one of the lightest and smallest from Leofoto. This contributes significantly to easy transportability. The head weighs only 0.25kg and supports up to 6 kg! Its height is 75mm, and the base diameter is 36 mm. It is mounted on the tripod using a 3/8" thread.

With a large, ergonomic clamping lever, the ball head can be released to allow the camera to move freely. The clamp itself can also be rotated through 360°. This means that A panoramic shot can be taken with the ball head locked. The ball head is equipped with a clamp according to the Arca-Swiss standard and a quick-release plate. The legs of this tripod are made from 10 layers of carbon fibres (carbon) wound. The special diamond-shaped winding of these layers ensures additional stability and vibration damping with extremely low weight!

Leofoto uses high-quality for the metal parts 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterized by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to mild steel. All parts are manufactured on the most modern CNC Machines are milled from solid material and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either!

The tripod feet have a stainless-steel core. The outer rubber is shaped in such a way that there is a flat contact surface for every spread angle. The beautiful transport bag is water-repellent and has padded handles. The handles are attached so that the centre of gravity is under the handles. The transport bag is equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap.
