Godox S85T-P Deflector Plate / Beauty Disc for S85T Umbrella Softbox

The Godox S85T-P deflector / Beauty Dish is designed for installation on the S85T softbox. The deflector is installed on the softbox stem and reflects all the light from the pulse source onto the inner silver walls of the softbox, which more evenly redirect it onto the diffusing fabric, creating the effect that is obtained when using a beauty dish. This allows the ST Series Softbox Umbrella to be used as a more portable and versatile alternative to a beauty dish, while also making it easier to store and transport lighting equipment.

By using the Godox S85T-P reflective deflector and the S85T softbox-umbrella with a silver inner surface, you can achieve a soft and moderately contrasting effect similar to that achieved with a beauty dish, but at the same time Godox ST has less weight and more compact dimensions in folded.
