Fotolux BG-MB-N12 Battery Grip for Nikon Z8

The Fotolux BG-MB-N12 battery grip is designed specifically for the Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera and holds up to two Nikon EN-EL15c/EN-EL15b rechargeable batteries (not included). Two batteries provide double the power and extend shooting time for photos and videos. The BG-MB-N12 offers in-grip battery charging, with separate LEDs for each battery displaying their charge status. You can hot-swap a battery while you shoot video or take photos, so you won’t have to stop your workflow. Using the battery grip with the alternate buttons and dials makes it easy and more comfortable to shoot in a portrait orientation, without twisting your arm. A convenient control-lock switch ensures you won’t accidentally press the grip’s shutter release and other controls.

Accepts Two Nikon EN-EL15 Rechargeable Batteries

The Fotolux BG-MB-N12 Battery Grip accepts two Nikon EN-EL15c/EN-EL15b rechargeable batteries so you can keep shooting over an extended time or perform power-heavy video operations. Each battery is housed in separate compartments, making it easier to hot-swap the batteries even while shooting video.

In-Grip Battery Charging
You can charge the batteries inside the grip, without removing them, using the grip’s USB Type-C port. This saves you the hassle of removing the batteries and finding a charger every time you need to power them up. In-grip battery charging works only with Nikon’s EN-EL15c and EN-EL15b batteries.

Battery Hot Swap
Shoot live video and change battery at the same time. You can hot-swap the first battery in the grip while capturing videos or photos without stopping your workflow.

Alternate Controls
Alternate buttons and dials make it comfortable to shoot in portrait orientation. The grip offers the same familiar control for shooting portraits, so your fingers feel right at home changing settings, adjusting focus points, and snapping the perfect shot.

Control Lock
A control lock allows you to quickly turn off the grip’s shutter release. This prevents accidentally pressing the grip’s shutter button and other controls while shooting in landscape position.

Battery Status LEDs
LEDs on the rear of the grip light up and display each battery’s charge status. This visual readout allows you to quickly identify which battery is charging, and which one is full.

1/4-20 Tripod Mount
The BG-MB-N12 attaches to your camera’s tripod socket with a 1/4-20 mounting screw for a secure fit. A 1/4-20 tripod socket on the bottom of the grip means your camera retains its mounting ability.
