Leofoto GC-282C 28mm Geared Center Column

The Leofoto GC-282C 28mm Geared Center Column can be used as a detachable center column that you place on the tripod plate of a tripod with 3/8-inch thread. A geared center column is eminently useful when you want to adjust the height with exact precision. Accurate adjustment with a normal center column can sometimes be difficult if you have a heavy camera mounted on the ballhead. The extra fixed length of the center column is 215mm and the GC-282C's turning crank allows you to adjust the height to a maximum of 325mm.

This geared center column is very is stable and strong and can be used with any Leofoto tripod with 3/8-inch thread. Due to the carbon tube with a diameter of 28mm, the maximum weight the GC-282C can carry is equal to the maximum carrying weight of the tripod and placed tripod head. Even the fiction of the rotary crank is adjustable so that the height can be adjusted with precision, regardless of the weight of your camera. At the end of the column is a 45mm platform to mount a tripod head. The GC-282C geared center column is milled from CNC aircraft aluminum, has a maximum length of 325mm and weighs 300g.
