• Cable-Free Hotshoe Design for Sony Camera - The WEC-S Receiver has a Sony Mi hot shoe mount that can slide directly to the camera (only for Sony cameras). It allows for a more stable connection and superior audio quality than the traditional 3.5mm cable connections. (To make the WEC-S more compatible, the 3.5mm jack still exists on the WEC-S receiver. Sony cameras can use the hot-shoe connection directly, while other users can also use WEC-S for their camera via the 3.5mm jack.)
